Cases of Cured COVID-19 Increased to 1,391, 12 Provinces Not Reporting the Addition of Positive Cases
JAKARTA – The Indonesian government through the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 recorded the number of patients who were recovered from COVID-19 per day today Wednesday (29/4) increased significantly to 1,391 after there were an addition of 137 people. The increase rate also shows that COVID-19 can be resisted and cured.
Of the 34 provinces in the country, DKI Jakarta is the region with the highest distribution of 440 patients, followed by 152 East Java, South Sulawesi 118, West Java 107, Central Java 101 and other regions in Indonesia, totaling 1,391 people.
If we look at the highest distribution there are 440 people in DKI Jakarta, in East Java there are 152, South Sulawesi 118, West Java 107, Central Java 101 so that in total with 29 other provinces there are 1,391 patients, “explained the Government Spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto in an official statement at the Media Center of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, Graha National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Jakarta, Wednesday (29/4).
The criteria for recovery of accumulated patients are based on the results of laboratory tests for two times and when there are no more clinical complaints.
On the other hand, the number of positive confirmed COVID-19 also increased by 260, bringing the total to 9,771 people. The distribution of positive cases as much as 59 percent are male and 41 percent female.
Furthermore, Yuri also said that the death rate due to positive COVID-19 increased by 11 people and the total became 784,
The most cases of death occurred in the age group around 30-59 years, namely as many as 364 people, then the second most were in the age range 60-79 years as many as 311 people and over 80 years as many as 28 people.
In addition there are co-morbidities or comorbidities of hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and lung disease, which worsen the patient’s condition until death.
Furthermore, the Task Force detailed COVID-19 positive data in Indonesia, namely in Aceh Province nine cases, Bali 215 cases, Banten 388 cases, Bangka Belitung 10 cases, Bengkulu 12 cases, Yogyakarta 94 cases, DKI Jakarta 4,092 cases.
Furthermore in Jambi 32 cases, West Java 1,009 cases, Central Java 711 cases, East Java 872 cases, West Kalimantan 58 cases, East Kalimantan 119 cases, Central Kalimantan 127 cases, South Kalimantan 157 cases, and North Kalimantan 92 cases.
Then in Riau Islands 89 cases, West Nusa Tenggara 230 cases, South Sumatra 144 cases, West Sumatra 145 cases, North Sulawesi 44 cases, North Sumatra 114 cases, and Southeast Sulawesi 53 cases.
Whereas in South Sulawesi 465 cases, Central Sulawesi 47 cases, Lampung 46 cases, Riau 41 cases, North Maluku 26 cases, Maluku 23 cases, West Papua 37 cases, Papua 189 cases, West Sulawesi 38 cases, East Nusa Tenggara one case, Gorontalo 15 cases and in the field verification process 27 cases.
The accumulated data was taken from the results of 86,985 specimen tests conducted using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method in 46 laboratories. A total of 67,784 cases of examined specimens obtained 9,771 positive data and 58,013 negative.
Then for the number of people under monitoring (ODP) to 221,750 people and patients under surveillance (PDP) to 21,653 people. The data was taken from 34 provinces and 297 districts / cities in the country.
